How to Get from Ağrı City Center to Ağrı Ahmed-i Hani Airport

About Ağrı Ahmed-i Hani Airport

• The distance between the city center and the airport is 8.5 km.
• It was opened to civilian air traffic in 1997 and serves approximately 300,000 passengers annually.
• The airport offers regular flights operated by AnadoluJet to Ankara Esenboğa Airport and by Turkish Airlines to Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
• Facilities include a 100-vehicle capacity parking lot, cafés, restaurants, lounges, VIP lounges, banking services, car rental and transfer offices, and a market. A new covered parking area is currently under construction.
• In July 2015, the airport’s name was officially changed from “Ağrı Airport” to “Ağrı Ahmed-i Hani Airport”, which remains its name today.
